Brora Links

Gleneagles may be more glamorous, Carnoustie more prestigious but it is Brora Links which is the most northerly golf memorial to James Braid in his native Scotland.

In 1923 James Braid, five times Open Champion and a prolific designer of fine courses, visited the Links and redesigned the 18 holes into a par 72, 6,217 yard layout which has stood the passing of time and remains a fair and challenging test of true links golf. Brora Golf Course presents all the attributes of the Scottish seaside links, ensuring that you will most probably use every club in the bag. Brora is also the headquarters of the James Braid Golfing Society.
